Well with it turned on prime if the float needle sticks you could fill the engine with the contents of the gas tank, if you run out of gas because teserve doesn't work a cager cr bigger could hurt you and your bike, or Savages are fun to ride and devel to push. So check the vacuum line between the tank valve diaphram and fitting on the carb. It is the small hose originally had a wire wrap around it. That much vacuum hose isn't very expensive and a better fix. If it is the valve, it is expensive, but again some of the options are more expensive. Max
